Butcher Boys Golf SocietyiQ - Event 2 Results

The members of the Butcher Boys Golf Society 2007-08 took to the greens & fairways of the Cotswold Downs golf course for the second event of the season.

The turnout for the event was very good with almost 50 players braving heavy rain at the start of the day, to be rewarded with much friendlier conditions later on. 

In spite of the heavy weather at the start, there was still some very good scoring, with the eventual results being:

• 1st: Dale Penny & Allen Cretten - 42pts
• 2nd: Mark Webster & Kyle Bender - 41pts (on count-out)
• 3rd: Gary F. & Craig F. - 41pts (on count-out)
• Longest Drive: Darren Gillespie- 288m on 18th
• Nearest To Pin: Allen Cretten - 8ft on 5th

Following the second event, there has been a re-shuffle atop the Pilsner Urquell Grand Prix with the early front-runner Gavin Ross being overtaken by a handful of player. The current top three are (1st) Dave Tretheway - 67pts, (2nd) Dale Penny - 62pts & (3rd) Bryan Fourie - 57pts.Grand Prix Standing >>
