TERMS & CONDITIONS
GolfiQ is a golf services company that specialises in delivering unique & tailored golf events. Given the uncertain nature of the future, a few terms & conditions apply to our services & the realtionship between GolfiQ and its clients.
1. CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
To confirm a booking, a completed & signed booking form is required. Upon
receipt of which a contract will be deemed to exist between GolfiQ
& the Client making the booking. A deposit of 25% of the total event costs
accompanies the confirmation of booking.
2. BALANCES
Full payment accompanied with confirmation of final numbers must be received no
later than 4 weeks prior to the event. If the event is not fully pre-paid
within this time, GolfiQ reserves the right to cancel the
booking & retain your deposit.
3. CANCELLATIONS
If the Client cancels a booking then the following conditions shall apply:
- A booking cancellation 3 months or more before the commencement date of the event: Client will not be charged any amounts additional to the deposit plus any costs for items already ordered and / or attained on behalf of the Client.
- A booking cancellation less than 3 months but more than 2 months before the commencement date of the event: Client shall be charged & invoiced 50% of the estimated value of the booking plus any costs for items already ordered and / or attained on behalf of the Client.
- A booking cancellation less than 2 months but more than 1.5 months before the commencement date of the event: Client shall be charged & invoiced 75% of the estimated value of the booking plus any costs for items ordered and / or attained on behalf of the Client.
- A book cancellation less than 1.5 months before the commencement date of the event: Client shall be charged & invoiced 100% of the estimated value of the booking plus any costs for items ordered and / or attained on behalf of the Client.
- All cancellations must be received in writing from the Client by GolfiQ.
4. CHANGES IN NUMBERS
In the event of the Client wishing to change the number of places reserved then
the following conditions shall apply:
- If the Client wishes to increase the number of places then, subject to availability, GolfiQ shall make such places available & the Client shall be charged accordingly.
- If the Client wishes to reduce the number of places reserved & notice of the changes is received by GolfiQ less than 3 months before the commencement date of the event then the Client shall be charged 50% of the estimated value of the places cancelled plus the cost of any items ordered and / or attained on behalf of the Client.
- If notice of a reduction in the number of places is received by GolfiQ less than 2 months but more than 1.5 months before the commencement date of the event then the Client shall be charged 75% of the estimated value of the place(s) cancelled plus any costs for items ordered and / or attained on behalf of the client.
- If notice of a reduction in the number of places is received by GolfiQ less than 1.5 months before the commencement date of the event then the Client shall be charged 100% of the estimated value of the place(s) cancelled plus any costs for items ordered and / or attained on behalf of the client.
- All changes in numbers must be received in writing by GolfiQ.
5. LIABILITY
Neither GolfiQ or its servants shall be held responsible for any claims for
loss or damage arising by any means. Upon confirmation of booking with GolfiQ,
you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of
your party. Every effort will be made by GolfiQ to deliver a successful event
but we cannot accept any liability if any of the following adversely affects
your booking: war or threat of, riot, terrorist activity, industrial actions,
fire, natural or nuclear disasters or adverse weather conditions.
6. CANCELLATION BY GOLFiQ
GolfiQ reserves the right to cancel the booking on immediate notice if the
holding of the booking is prevented by reasons beyond its control. In the
result that GolfiQ cancels the booking any monies paid on deposit will be
reimbursed but GolfiQ shall not be liable for any other matters whatsoever.
7. WEATHER
No reductions or reimbursements shall apply if the weather affects the booking
in any way whatsoever.
8. COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
If you wish to complain about any aspects of your dealing with GolfiQ then the
complaint must be made in writing & forwarded onto us within 14 days of the
completion of the event. Email is an acceptable form of written communications.
9. ACCURACY
All information displayed on our website & other company literature is to
the best of our knowledge & belief correct at the time of publication.
However, we reserve the right to make changes to information contained within
our literature.
